A federal grand jury has indicted a man in a terrorism case for allegedly using the Internet to promote violence against Americans.

A federal grand jury has indicted a man in a terrorism case for allegedly using the Internet to promote violence against Americans.

According to the indictment issued in Alexandria, Va., 22-year-old Emerson Winfield Begolly has been an active moderator of a popular, internationally known Islamic extremist web forum.

Begolly allegedly posted notes encouraging attacks within the U.S. using firearms, explosives and propane tanks against police stations, post offices, synagogues military facilities, train lines, bridges, cell phone towers and water plants.

He also is accused of posting links to a 101-page document on how to set up a laboratory and manufacture explosives.
